Coach Turner, attended Kingwood High School where he was selected to First Team All Greater Houston and later on the NJCAA All-star team at Brookhaven JC. He later played at Houston Baptist University and A&M Kingsville. He has 16 years of coaching experience. At Lake Travis H.S. he was a varsity assistant for 2 years and from 2005 to 2007 he was the head coach at Lexington H.S. In 2007, Turner led Lexington to the Regional Quarterfinals of the Texas State High School Baseball Playoffs. His family includes, his wife Carissa and his son Liam. Together they have 3 dogs, a three legged dog named “Tripod”, a Hound Dog named “Tater” and “Travis”.

Jared Cox is a native of Houston, Texas. He graduated from The University of Texas with a B.S. in Sports Management. This is his Sixth year at Dawson. He is an inclusion teacher and coaches baseball and football. He is married to wife, Lauren, who is a Speech Language Pathologist. Cox enjoys golf, softball, and video games.
